A bag of vomit was thrown at two Muslim women in an apparent hate crime.
The women were driving through Blackburn, when a bag of foul-smelling liquid was hurled at their car, according to TellMama an organisation that measures anti-Muslim attacks.
One of the women says the bag of vomit was flung from a white van with such force that it made a large thud noise on impact when it hit the driver’s side window.
Fortunately, the window was closed at the time.
She said she believed they were targeted because they were wearing hijabs at the time.
The suspects involved in the alleged Islamophobic hate crime on June 8 are described as white and in their 20s or 30s.
