Eric King, who was arrested over alleged claims he would ‘kill Muslims’, has been released

The statements appeared on Mr King’s Facebook page, which shares a lot of posts from the controversial Britain First group

A 63-year-old man from Cornwall who allegedly said that he “had no worries about ending the life of any Muslim” has been released pending further investigation.

Eric King, of St Austell, was arrested after the statement appeared on his Facebook page.

On the same day, September 15, another post said that “Islam needs to be wiped off the face of the earth, if that means killing all Muslims, so be it”.

This was stated on a post he shared from the Britain First Facebook page by its leader Paul Golding with the headline: “While Christianity dies in Germany, Islam springs up in its place!”

Mr King’s full subsequent post that day said: “Why are we being forced to except [sic] all these immigrants, they are the scum of the world I hate every one of them, I have no worries about ending the life of any Muslim, they are more than happy to end the lives of all white people, the day is coming when we the white true people of the UK will revolt and take the country back.”
