The Saudi regime took my wife and my children as a hostage, I hope you help me

The Saudi regime uses my wife and children as hostages to pressure me to stop my rights and media activities and surrender myself to the Saudi authorities. Then I am held for long periods or sentenced to death.

I am Ali Hashem al-Haji was born in 1983, married from Zahra Hashem was born in 1988 and we have 5 children, Hassan was born in 2009 – Hussein was born in 2010 – Zainab was born in 2011 – Abbas was born in 2016 – Fatima was born in 2017.

Since 2011 I was active in the field of Human rights and went out in peaceful demonstrations and I demand the lifting of racial discrimination against the Shiite minority in Saudi Arabia, and denounced the Saudi support for terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq, and I was condemned and convicted war on Yemen, and I call for Saudi Arabia to stop this senseless war in Yemen and stop the war crimes in Yemen I was convicted of all the arbitrary arrests against prisoners of conscience in Saudi Arabia and was found guilty of all executions carried out by the Saudi regime against detainees of opinion.

At the end of 2016, I received summonses from many of the criminal court in Riyadh specialized in terrorism cases, from the investigators in Dammam and finally from the security of the state. Consequently, I left Saudi Arabia to Lebanon for fear of being arrested and imprisoned for very long periods, or sentenced to death against me. My children and wife followed me to Lebanon 9 months after I left Saudi Arabia.

I continued my rights and media activities in Lebanon, which aroused the anger of the Saudi regime and sent me many warnings of death or kidnapping from Lebanon. In 2018, my wife and children returned to Saudi Arabia to attend a relative’s marriage and celebrate the Eid with the family. Upon arrival at Dammam airport, my wife and children were arrested and they shouted and terrored at them and their passports were confiscated and my wife was forced to stamp on the papers do not know what is so far, My wife and my children were interrogated for 3 hours at Dammam airport and then allowed to go home after signing a pledge to review the Department of Investigation in Dammam. My wife underwent six interrogation sessions by the mabahith in Dammam and Al-Ahsa asking her to convince me to return to Saudi Arabia, I replied that she is not related to my rights and media activities. I refuse her intervention in this matter. She cannot convince me. She was told that she and the children are forbidden to travel outside Saudi Arabia and are forbidden from renewing and issuing passports.

I also received several threats by the Saudi regime through one of my relatives and through the social networking sites to arrest my wife and son Hassan in case I did not stop my rights and media activities and always receive indirect threats (watch out for yourself, your children with us)

The Saudi regime uses my wife and children as hostages to pressure me to stop my rights and media activities and surrender myself to the Saudi authorities. Then I am held for long periods or sentenced to death.

I appeal to the United Nations to intervene to save us, my wife and children, and we have moved to a safe place where we live in dignity and security. I am currently in Lebanon and there is no security, safety, my wife and children in Saudi Arabia. They may be arrested at any moment.
